Party time

I finally had time to post pictures of the kid's birthday. I have been a little busy with finishing up nursing school. That's right folks. I graduate this Saturday. I am officially done with nursing school. Anyway, the kiddos had a great birthday. On Thursday we took them to the mall to get a build a bear. Ava got a bunny and Hayden got a dog. Then we visited Santa for the annual picture. This was the first year that they didn't cry. Hayden walked right up to him. Ava was a little reluctant. The picture turned out ok. They got to have a train ride and then we left for Target. They each got to choose a gift because they gift cards from a friend. Then we went to Chuck e cheeses. It was ok. We got there when there wasn't very many people. Which was a good thing. Then more and more people started to come. That was our cue to leave. Hayden and Ava had a blast playing all the games. Ava would start a game and then leave in the middle, she was so excited. Then we went over to my mom's house so they could open presents and have a cake. They had a great birthday.

Then on Saturday we had their friend birthday party at the Riverplex. It was great. I highlty recommend it. We showed up let all the kids (18 of them) have free reign in the gym to play. They had a ball. The big hit were the scooters. I remember playing with those in gym class in elementary school. Then they got to eat their special cakes (Cars and Tinkerbelle) and open presents. Then we got to leave. No mess to pick up. It was glorious. Then we went to eat at Avanti's with Brian's brother and his family before they left to go back to Indiana. It was a success. Then I came home to take some Advil because I had a headache
